Job Overview
Great Yarmouth Pathway are recruiting an experienced Mental Health Recovery Worker to work in a new role for our charity. The Recovery worker will operate in both our café and foodbank, to support people affected by mental health issues, including volunteers, to implement the following:
* Engage with project participants to assess their mental health needs
* Provide one to one support as required
* Deliver basic informative sessions that touch on various aspects of mental health
* Organise group activities: such as Crops in Pots, arts and crafts etc.
We are looking for someone with a caring attitude and experience of working in mental health with a variety of individuals experiencing emotional distress and interested to be part of a brilliant project at the very heart of the community. The Recovery worker will be part of an established team and will support the values and ethos of Great Yarmouth Pathway.

What We Are Looking For
* Relevant experience within the mental health or care sector
* Delivery workshops and group work/ group facilitation for those with mild-moderate
mental health issues
* Mentoring, teaching or training experience
* Ability to engage in 1-2-1 and group conversations
