This post will work closely with the Employability Development Officer and Team Leader to deliver, and grow our East Lothian Foundation Apprenticeship portfolio.
The Foundation Apprenticeship Co-ordinator role within East Lothian Works is vital to the co-ordination of Foundation Apprenticeships. Currently East Lothian Works manage 6 frameworks (Business Skills, Accountancy, Social Services Children & Young People, IT Software, IT Hardware and Scientific Technologies (1 x 2 year and one direct entry 1 year model). This role co-ordinates the full life cycle from marketing to recruitment to sustaining participation, managing external contractors and completion of qualification at SCQF Level 6.
The individual will be solution focussed, proactive, and have a passion for ensuring young people have quality experiences available to them. They will have the ability to see and act on opportunities, be an able communicator and facilitator and be organised. The successful candidate will work at pace and manage a variety of competing priorities.

Please Note:
All home/hybrid workers must live in the UK. Where an application for home-working is supported, it will be subject to a satisfactory trial period. Employees will be expected to attend Council offices for the duration of induction, and be on site in East Lothian workplaces, as required. Employees with a hybrid working arrangement in place will be office based and able to work from home, with permission, on an ad hoc basis.
