GSL Education are currently seeking an enthusiastic RS Teacher to join a school in Sutton-in-Ashfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, encourage critical thinking, and support pupils in achieving their academic potential.
Role Overview:
As a Religious Studies (RS) Teacher, you will deliver stimulating lessons that develop pupils’ understanding of religious beliefs, ethical issues, and philosophical perspectives. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, encouraging discussion, reflection, and independent learning.
As an RS Teacher, you will:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons across the RS curriculum.
* Create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that inspire pupils.
* Monitor pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning needs.
* Encourage critical thinking, reflection, and debate on ethical and religious topics.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, department heads, and parents to support student development.
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding, behaviour management, and pupil welfare.
Requirements for RS Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies.
* Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to engage and inspire pupils of varying abilities.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
