Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily processing of customer orders received and ensure timely and accurate entry of orders into internal systems.
* Monitor order flow, proactively resolve bottlenecks or delays, and ensure alignment with production capabilities, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
* Lead and develop a team of order processing operatives and administrators; set performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching and training.
* Identify, arrange and evaluate training for new and existing staff; collaborate with other internal departments to develop a training roadmap and ensure targets are met.
* Handle daily management queries and provide support to achieve operational success; monitor time, attendance, and punctuality in line with Company Procedures; escalate complex issues as needed.
* Identify inefficiencies in the order processing workflow and implement improvements; generate and analyze order processing metrics and report to senior management on performance and trends.
* Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards; maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all processed orders.
Main requirements
* Proven experience in order processing or supply chain management, ideally in a manufacturing or optical industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to learn and adapt to new software.
* Experience with order processing software and Microsoft Office; excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to perform in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with attention to detail and quality.
* Ability to organize, prioritize, and deliver while making decisions under pressure to achieve business KPIs; experience in optical manufacturing or healthcare-related industries is advantageous.
