About the Role
As a Pharmacy Manager at Hawkes Bay Hospital, you will lead the strategic, clinical, and operational delivery of pharmacy services across the hospital. Youll be responsible for ensuring safe, effective, and equitable pharmaceutical care, managing the pharmacy licence, and driving service innovation aligned with Te Whatu Oras national priorities. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of pharmacy services in a region committed to health equity and excellence.
Youll work closely with the Group Leadership Team and clinical partners to foster a quality-focused, culturally safe service that supports both patients and staff. Your leadership will be key in transforming models of care, implementing digital enablement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with professional standards and legislation.

About you
As a Pharmacy Manager, you will bring:
* Registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Council of New Zealand.
* A valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC) with no conditions.
* Extensive clinical pharmacy experience and proven leadership in a complex healthcare setting.
* A strong understanding of kaupapa Māori and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
* The ability to manage operational decisions independently and lead service transformation.
