Health Care Assistant Exeter, EX2 5JJ
Hours: 22.5 - 37.5 hours/week (3 to 5 days over 7, including rotation to nights)
Salary: Hospiscare Band 3 - £24,937 £26,598 per annum, pro rata

As a Health Care Assistant on our IPU, you will work alongside registered nursing staff in the multi-disciplinary team, helping to provide holistic and person-centred care and support for patients with complex life-limiting illnesses.
Responsibilities
You will work alongside registered nursing staff in the multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic and person-centred care and support for patients with complex life-limiting illnesses. You will deliver care in a clinical setting and manage a delegated workload, escalating issues as appropriate or working co-operatively as part of the team. Your developed communication and interpersonal skills will be essential to be effective in this role.
Qualifications and experience
You will have experience in delivering care in a clinical setting, with awareness of the complexities of working with individuals at times of distress and conflict. Some experience of working in specialist palliative care would be an advantage. You will be able to work on your own initiative and also as part of a team.
