Phoenix Equipment Ltd is a growing independent provider in the tachograph industry, delivering a comprehensive range of services including parts supply, product support, training, calibrations, and repairs. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Administration Assistant Graduate Apprenticeship—allowing you to earn while you learn and develop valuable professional skills.
In this hands-on apprenticeship, you’ll play a vital part in our operations, supporting various business functions:
Customer Engagement: Be the first point of contact, providing effective solutions & ensuring exceptional service to foster strong client relationships.
Operational Excellence: Keep our systems running smoothly, maintaining accurate records to support efficiency.
Process Improvement: Contribute ideas to enhance workflows and optimise administrative operations.
Supporting Financial Operations: handling invoicing and assisting with financial documentation.
Working with key business tools: utilizing ERP systems, finance software, and Microsoft 365 packages.
As you develop in the role, you’ll have the opportunity to take on more responsibilities and gain a solid understanding of how different functions of the business work together. We’re looking for someone enthusiastic and full of ideas to help us improve processes and drive innovation within the company.
Comprising 1 Day At Dundee University And 4 Days At Our Dundee-based Office During Term Time (full-time At The Office Out Of Term Time) You Will
* Gain in-depth knowledge of business functions, organisational strategies, and financial models to analyse and improve performance effectively.
* Develop key skills in leadership, project management, and team management while understanding the role of technology in enhancing business processes.
* Hone your ability to communicate effectively across diverse media platforms, cultivating a deep understanding of organisational culture and the interconnection between markets, strategies, and environmental factors.
* Develop expertise in the tachograph sector, gaining an in-depth understanding of DVSA requirements and compliance regulations essential for efficient tachograph workshop operations and logistics across the EU.
As part of your role, you will be required to fully engage with the requirements of the University of Dundee’s Graduate Apprenticeship Programme. Failure to do so will result in the termination of your employment.
Upon successful completion of the four-year course, you will graduate with a BSc (Hons) Business Management (Graduate Apprenticeship) Degree.

Course Eligibility
* The Graduate Apprentice must be a resident in Scotland at the start of their programme (and stayed in the UK for three years and two months prior).
* Their usual place of work must be in Scotland.
* Undertake an additional 7-9 hours of study (on average) per week outside of your contracted hours.
* They should not already have a qualification at the same level in the same subject.
* Must have one of the following:
* a Modern Apprenticeship in a relevant area (SCQF Level 6)
* a Foundation Apprenticeship in a relevant area and two Highers (English and maths are preferred)
* BBBC at Higher (English and maths are preferred)
