Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager – Accountancy Practice (Surrey, Hybrid)
Location:Camberley, Surrey (hybrid working available)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (DOE) + Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
An established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Surrey is looking for an Audit & Accounts Assistant Manager to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant looking to step into a client-facing leadership role with genuine scope for development and progression.

The practice prides itself on its collaborative culture, strong client relationships, and focus on delivering high-quality audit, accounts, and advisory services.
The Role
This position offers a 50/50 split between audit and accounts, with varied responsibilities across planning, fieldwork, review, and team supervision. You’ll be working directly with partners and senior managers, supporting a loyal client base with a hands-on approach.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading audits from planning through to completion for a range of clients
Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
Supervising junior team members and reviewing their work
Acting as a point of contact for clients, building strong working relationships
Supporting partners with ad hoc advisory work and technical queries
Assisting with workflow planning and ensuring compliance with deadlines
About You
We’re looking for a qualified accountant who enjoys variety in their work and is ready to take the next step in their career.
Recent experience in a UK accountancy practice
Strong knowledge of audit, accounting standards, and tax principles
Proven ability to lead audit assignments and review work
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Experience with software such as CCH and cloud-based accounting packages (preferred)
