Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEN

Salary: £25,740 - £27,241.50 * Per Year
Hours:37.5 Hours per week - Term time only

As a Teaching Assistant within the school you will be supporting students to reach their full potential and learning goals.
This role will be supporting challenging behaviours within a SEMH provision, all applicants must be aware that these behaviours can include physical and verbal outbursts from students. Duties:
* Providing support to students in and out of the classroom
* Assisting Teachers with a range of educational needs
* Providing students with the care and compassion they need to thrive in school
* Liaising with parents and external agencies where suitable
* Supporting with appropriate interventions such as literacy and numeracy
* Work collaboratively as a team to improve outcomes for our students
Skills / Qualifications:
* A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
* At least two years’ experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
* A level 3 TA qualification is advantageous
