Assistant Food and Beverage Manager - Holiday Inn Aylesbury
Up to £29,000.00 per annum + service charge, 40 hours per week.
We are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and require flexibility in shifts. Shift patterns and contracted hours can be discussed at interview. Responsibilities
* Manage daily food and beverage operations to ensure the highest standards of service.
* Carry out Duty Management shifts as required by business needs and participate in departmental meetings to review progress toward business plan goals.
* Plan, organise and direct overall Food and Beverage operation, administration, marketing and promotion of the outlet; ensure profitability and revenue generation.
* Maintain control measures for food and beverage costs, productivity, labour costs and operating supply costs in line with budget.
* Ensure clear communication with the Food and Beverage Manager, Head Chef, Conference and Events Manager and Operations Manager.
* Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar and room service; maintain knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
* Strong leadership with interpersonal and training skills; good communication and service orientation with attention to detail.
* Experience implementing and maintaining controls for costs, productivity, labour and supplies.
* Ability to work as part of a team and motivate others.
