Job Description: Shift: Monday to Friday 3pm to 11pm (flexibility for weekends. This role is maternity cover but the candidate may stay on, if another shift or role becomes available. The Role We are seeking two proactive Quality Assurance Technicians to support our expanding QA team. This is a hands-on, factory-based role where youll play a key part in maintaining high food safety and product standards across our operations. Key Responsibilities Perform daily process checks (metal detection, weights, packaging & labelling, flavour checks) Complete pre-start hygiene checks, including ATP and allergen testing Organize and manage shelf-life samples and related testing Conduct raw material intake assessments Collect product samples for lab testing Ensure products meet all customer specifications and company standards Follow strict SOPs, HACCP, and BRC requirements Requirements Minimum 1 year of QA experience in the food industry (preferred) HACCP Level 2 and Food Safety Level 3 certifications Strong understanding of food safety systems and industry standards Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic IT systems What We Offer Competitive salary Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities Chance to grow with an innovative, fast-moving company Clean, modern working environment with a strong safety culture Ready to bring your quality skills to a company that takes food safety seriously?
