Salary: £35- £45k + pkg

AMajor Civil Contractor are seeking a Senior Engineer to work on a project based in theHertfordshire to work on heavy Civil multi discipline highways projects on a permanent basis and must have a range of different Civil experience and Highways experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Support the Site Manager and deputise for short periods when the Site Manager is not available.
* Management of Site Management Plan
* Build, develop, support and maintain the engineering team
* Be aware of responsibilities from the HSEQ policies
* Short Term plans
Required Experience
* Candidates should ideally be qualified to degree / diploma level in a civil engineering discipline.
* Previous experience of working for a main contractor on major civil engineering projects is essential.
* Organisational skills
* Knowledge of the requirements and implementation of CDM Regulations
* Ability to produce Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and safe systems of work
* Knowledge of Safety, Quality and Environmental issues
* Experience in construction.
