Job Description:
Arden Creative Studio are a brand-new Manufacturer of Papercraft products in the Creative Products market.
We are looking for a skilled Account Manager with Sales experience to join our team. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer requests and issues and then offer support and advice. The successful candidate for this role will not be afraid of picking up the phone to call customers to nurture and develop relationships, support retailers to place orders and have a strong command of the company’s product ranges. Knowledge of crafting activities and products a bonus but not essential as full product training will be provided. This role will be directly reporting to the Sales Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
•Answer customer communications via telephone or email promptly, take and process orders
•Quickly learn the functions of the accounting and ordering system and look at processes to ensure best practice
•Process and set up trade accounts on our system, send information
Account Management
•Nurture and develop International Distributors and Key accounts to reach sales targets and achieve the overall business goal for this financial year
oCall prospective customers to initiate contact and register for accounts
oDevelop relationships with customers to maximise potential sales
oKeep track of pre-orders
oHold online meetings to present new product ranges to customer base
oLook after relationships with international distributors, present new ranges and collate pre-orders to feed into the New Product Development Manager in a timely manner to ensure suitable levels of stock are available
•Accurately record and log interaction with your customers and update account information
•Present call feedback and updates in Meetings
•Other duties as required
Must haves:
•Educated to A-level or equivalent
•Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•3 years + Customer Service experience
We are based in Redditch, Worcestershire, B98 9HF – you must be able to comfortably travel to this location.
Hours Monday to Friday 37.5 hours per week with flexibility at busy times.
