Position Overview
As the Head of Department, you will manage your own caseload and whilst playing a significant role in leading and shaping the department and its very capable team of fee earners and admin support.
Responsibilities
* Providing deputyship advice within litigation matters
* Developing and expanding Court of Protection and Trustee services for personal injury clients
* Mentoring and advising other team members
* Supporting deputies and directors in managing client finances
* Drafting and submitting applications to the Court of Protection
* Preparing financial information for client meetings
* Liaising with financial advisors, case managers, and care providers
Requirements
* Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5+ PQE
* Extensive experience in Court of Protection work
* Proven leadership and team management skills
* Strong business and client relationship management abilities
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving skills
