About You

* Qualified (ACA/ACCA) or part-qualified with strong compliance experience in practice
* Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax compliance requirements
* Comfortable managing multiple deadlines with accuracy and efficiency
* Experience with Xero and other cloud software (highly desirable)
* A team player who values collaboration but can also work independently
* Attention to detail and the ability to review your own work
* Confident working directly with clients

About the Role
As our Compliance Accountant, you'll be the go-to qualified professional within the practice, managing and reviewing compliance work across a diverse client base. This is a hands-on, senior role where you'll enjoy both responsibility and trust, working directly with clients and supported by a small, collaborative team.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing annual statutory accounts for limited companies
* Managing and submitting corporation tax returns
* Preparing personal and partnership tax returns
* Supporting clients with Companies House filings and deadlines
* Company secretarial filings and administration
* Liaising with HMRC and ensuring clients are always compliant
* Reviewing and self-checking your own work to a high professional standard
* Assisting our team and providing exceptional client service
