Due to continued growth, our client – a well-established medical equipment servicing specialist – has an exciting opportunity for a Service Technician to join their fantastic team at their Corby Head Office.
You'll begin by working in the servicing lab, carrying out equipment checks and repairs, before progressing to a field-based role supporting customers directly.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out detailed service checks on parts and equipment
* Repairing and maintaining a variety of machinery components (e.g. control panels, ultrasound probes)
* Following itemised service check-lists to ensure thorough inspections
* Maintaining accurate service documentation and logs
* Providing occasional technical support to other departments
What We're Looking For
* Strong working knowledge of electronic machinery and repairs
* Confident on working on components that are very intricate
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Confident communicator with great customer service skills
* Previous experience in a workshop or service technician role
* Genuine interest in electronics and "fixing things"
* Full UK driving licence is essential
If you have previous experience of repairing or servicing machinery used within the medical sector this will be a huge advantage.
