Driver Hire Inverness is currently recruiting a Class 2 HGV Driver for a permanent position based at Ardelve Depot (IV40), covering the Skye and Lochalsh area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers looking for steady, full‑time work with consistent weekday hours.
✅ What We Offer:
1. Permanent, Monday–Friday work
2. Early start at 06:00
3. £16.00 per hour basic rate
4. Overtime paid at £24.00 per hour
5. Overtime applies after 45 hours worked per week
🚛 Typical Duties May Include:
6. Local deliveries across Skye & Lochalsh
7. General haulage and distribution
8. Pallet Deliveries using pallet trucks and tail lifts
9. Loading and unloading
10. Daily vehicle checks
📋 Requirements:
11. Valid Class 2 (HGV) Licence
12. Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card
13. Maximum of 6 penalty points
14. No DR, TT or IN convictions
