Training at school will be provided for those who are less experienced.
Duties as a Cover Supervisor:
Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers
Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure students remain on task
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Support students with their learning and maintain a positive classroom environment
Report any issues or student concerns to senior staff
Ideal Cover Supervisor:
Previous experience in a classroom or educational setting is beneficial but not essential
Strong communication and organisational skills as a Cover Supervisor.
Confident classroom presence and ability to engage with students
Flexible and proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning
