What You’ll Do
* Deliver first‑opinion consultations and medical care within a structured appointment system.
* Perform routine surgical procedures, appropriate to your level of experience.
* Utilise on‑site diagnostics to investigate and manage cases to a high clinical standard.
* Manage treatment planning and follow‑up, ensuring continuity of care.
* Work in line with RCVS standards, maintaining patient safety, pain management, and accurate clinical records.
* Collaborate closely with veterinary nurses and fellow veterinary surgeons to support efficient case flow.
* Participate in a shared rota including weekend and limited bank holiday cover.

What They Need From You
* RCVS Registration – eligibility to practise as a Veterinary Surgeon in the UK.Criteria: Active RCVS membership.
* Clinical Capability – ability to manage consultations and routine procedures safely.Criteria: Experience in small animal practice appropriate to your level.
* Surgical Competence – engagement with routine soft tissue surgery.Criteria: Experience performing or developing competence in common procedures.
* Clinical Judgment – ability to assess cases and apply evidence‑based care.Criteria: Examples of treatment planning aligned with best practice.
* Team Collaboration – effective working within a multi‑vet and nursing team.Criteria: Experience coordinating care across a clinical team.
