Alliance Personnel are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join one of our clients based in Birmingham, B14. Job Summary: The Merchandise Planner – Wholesale is responsible for developing and executing financial and merchandise plans to drive profitable growth for the wholesale business. This role partners closely with sales, supply chain, buying, and operations teams to ensure that inventory investments align with sales goals, customer demand, and seasonal trends across multiple wholesale accounts. Key Responsibilities: * Forecasting: Maintain rolling forecasts and revise monthly based on sales trends, inventory levels, and input from sales and buying teams. * Inventory Management: Ensure optimal inventory levels across all wholesale accounts by managing open-to-buy, flow plans, and replenishment. * Analysis & Reporting: Analyse sales, sell-through, and stock performance across accounts to identify risks, opportunities, and action plans. * Assortment Planning: Collaborate with merchants and buyers to align product assortments with account strategies and financial targets. * Pre-Season & In-Season Management: Support pre-season line planning, buy review meetings, and in-season reorders or markdown strategies. * Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with logistics, production, and finance to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective strategies. Qualifications: * 2 years of merchandise planning or allocation experience, preferably in a wholesale environment. * Strong analytical and financial acumen with advanced Excel skills. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm (37.5hrs per week) Temp to Perm
