Warehouse Supervisor
Pipeline Plus Ltd is a specialist distributor of underground plastic pipes and fittings for the Utility, Construction, Chemical, Fire and other markets, including Water mains, Gas mains, Fire Sprinkler mains, and other piping systems.
Job Description:
This new position for a Warehouse Supervisor will require the successful applicant to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse, including managing staff, controlling inventory, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment, and upholding safety standards. Key responsibilities involve coordinating staff, tracking stock, implementing operational improvements, and liaising with other departments to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity. Essential skills for this role include leadership, communication, and problem-solving, along with technical knowledge of warehouse management systems.
Responsibilities
· Staff Management:
Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse employees, assigning workloads and motivating the team to meet daily targets and maintain high standards.
· Inventory Control:
Manage inventory levels by observing deliveries, conducting cycle counts, and resolving discrepancies to ensure product availability and accuracy.
· Operational Coordination:
Oversee and coordinate all daily activities, including the receiving, storing, and dispatching of goods to ensure efficient flow.
· Order Fulfilment:
Ensure timely processing and accurate fulfilment of customer orders, meeting delivery timelines and client needs.
· Safety and Compliance:
Monitor and enforce company policies and safety regulations to maintain a secure and compliant warehouse environment.
· Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and decrease costs.
· Equipment Oversight:
Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring regular servicing and proper functioning.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
