*** Support through the maths national curriculum at KS3 and KS4
The Role:
Work with the maths team to deliver targeted support. Lead short interventions, run small groups, and provide 1:1 tuition on key topics. Reinforce fluency, reasoning, problem-solving and exam technique. Prepare simple resources, track impact, and share next steps with teachers.
The Candidate:
You hold a maths or related STEM degree. You explain concepts clearly, use examples well, and keep sessions focused. You’re organised, reliable, and keen to progress into teaching.
Requirements
• Degree – A 2:2 or above in any subject.
• Communication – Clear, confident verbal and written communication.
• Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Desire to work in education/with children – Genuine interest in pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Experience working with children – Any relevant experience (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is desirable but not essential.
