Job Description
* Provide HR guidance and advice across the organisation
* Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
* Support the Head of HR Change with organisational redesigns by co-creating role profiles with the responsible line manager. As well as providing support on all associated consultation correspondence thus ensuring consistency and transparency across the business.
* Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
* Support recruitment and selection processes
* Manage performance review processes
* Facilitate staff training and development initiatives
* Maintain compliance with employment legislation
* Contribute positively to the HR team and wider organisation
The Successful Applicant
A successful HR Advisor should have:
* Relevant qualifications in Human Resources
* Experience of working in a similar role within the public sector
* Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
* Trained in job evaluation (ideal!)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple HR tasks and projects
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
