2. Salary: £29,000 to £32,000

4. Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

My clients are looking for a Buyer/Purchasing Coordinator to join their team! As a Buyer, you’ll be making sure they get the right products at the best prices while keeping quality high and deliveries on track. As a Buyer/Purchasing Coordinator it’s all about maintaining a smooth and reliable supply of essential goods to keep everything running efficiently.
Buyer Responsibilities
6. Purchase the right products, at the right time and price, from the right suppliers
7. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing and reliable service
8. Identify cost-saving opportunities and increase settlement discounts year-on-year
9. Work closely with Sales and Customer Service to support excellent customer experience
10. Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse to avoid overstock and reduce waste
11. Maintain accurate systems data (lead times, forecasts, pricing, supplier/product info)
12. Use tech and analytics to drive efficiency and support business reporting
13. Own stock purchasing decisions and correct any errors (e.g. return of excess stock)
Skills & Experience
14. A-Levels (minimum); Purchasing/Supply Chain qualification preferred
15. Proven experience in a purchasing role
16. Proficient with procurement software and data analysis
17. Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused
18. Strong analytical and decision-making skills
19. Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
