Job Description
Key Stage 1 Class Teacher - Primary
Area: Corby
Salary: £135- 160 per day (Agency working regulations to apply post 12 weeks)
Start date: ASAP
Hours of work: Full Time
Monarch Education are looking for a Qualified Teacher to work in a Primary School. The role begins in April 2025, the school will consider both ECT & final year students. The role is teach in Key Stage 1 and experience within this age group would be advantageous although not essential.
The Ideal Candidate Will
* QTS or QTLS
* Have the ability and knowledge to teach primary school pupils
* Be highly organised with excellent communication skills
* Have a desire to work with, inspire and support children from all needs and backgrounds
* Have excellent behaviour management skills
* Understand the expectations against the Teachers Standards
Main Responsibilities
* Teaching a variety of subjects to primary pupils
* Planning lessons and activities for whole class learning and group learning
* Supporting SEND children with their work in a class setting
* Managing difficult behaviours and implementing the school behaviour policy
* Safeguarding vulnerable pupils
* Possible supervising on lunch and break times
* Supporting and managing teaching assistants within the classroom
* Building relationships with staff and pupils
* Collecting evidence of pupils work to support their assessments
* Feedback to the relevant member of staff about the pupils progress
* To have pastoral responsibility for a group of pupils
* Potentially lead in a subject area
* Ensure a team approach to education with stakeholders such as parents and carers
