<div><h3>Overview</h3><p>Scolmore has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to provide support to the Accounts department by performing finance and administration tasks, including processing and recording transactions.</p><h3>Main Duties</h3><ul><li>Reconcile bank accounts, including foreign currency.</li><li>Post stock invoices.</li><li>Post non‑stock invoices, selecting appropriate nominal codes.</li><li>Analyse credit card statements and post the same.</li><li>Analyse expenses and post the same.</li><li>Post sales ledger cash.</li><li>Review post and distribute around departments.</li><li>Distribute purchase invoices to the appropriate teams and keep a log of invoices awaiting approval.</li><li>File and scan all documents.</li><li>Assist with controls and month‑end procedures.</li></ul><h3>Skills and Experience</h3><ul><li>Strong communication skills – ability to liaise with people at all levels within the business.</li><li>Highly organised and methodical approach.</li><li>Attention to detail and proactive approach.</li><li>Ability to prioritise work.</li><li>Works well both autonomously and as part of a team.</li><li>Excellent IT systems knowledge and experience – MS Office suites (intermediate level in Excel) with strong skills in Sage and strong analytical skills & attention to detail.</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Option to purchase up to 5 extra days of annual leave.</li><li>Health Cashback Plan.</li><li>Pension Scheme.</li><li>Life Assurance.</li><li>Free Parking.</li></ul><h3>Site Location</h3><p>Scolmore House, Tamworth, B79 7UL</p></div>
