Student Welfare & Medical Support Officer – Croydon
Term‑time only, full‑time (36 hours per week). Salary £25,179.
About the Role
An enthusiastic and supportive individual who is calm, organised and caring is needed to support student welfare, wellbeing and attendance. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Providing first aid and basic medical support to students.
* Tracking student attendance, monitoring absences and following up as required.
* Contributing to safeguarding and pastoral processes.
* Acting as a key point of contact for student welfare throughout the school day.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working in a school environment preferred.
* Knowledge of SIMS and a First Aid qualification preferred, or willingness to undertake training.
* Excellent communication skills, accuracy, confidentiality and ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
