PSV/HGV Engineer/Mechanic – Southend on Sea
Permanent | 40 Hours per Week | £22.00 - £33.00 per hour
Venatu Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced PSV/HGV Engineer/Mechanic based in Southend On Sea.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join the team in a permanent, full-time position. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking operation where your expertise will be recognised and rewarded.
Pay & Hours:
* Basic hourly rate: £22.00
* Overtime £33.00
* Basic annual salary: £45,760.00
* Overtime (after 40 hours/week):
* Shift pattern: 5 over 7
* Permanent contract
* Shifts - Days and Afters
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on PSV and HGV vehicles
* Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical and electrical repairs
* Ensuring all vehicles are maintained in a safe and roadworthy condition
* Maintaining accurate service and repair records
* Working in accordance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience working on PSV and/or HGV vehicles
* NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
* PSV licence (desirable)
* Strong diagnostic and repair capabilities
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
