The Head of Procurement (“HoP”) for Framatome Ltd is the senior expert in supply chain processes and strategic sourcing requirements, responsible for delivering sourcing solutions across major projects and transverse topics. The HoP oversees procurement and contract managers and the department strategy to provide end-to-end supply chain services to the operations and sales functions of Framatome Ltd across the M gate (sales) process and project delivery.
The role focuses on devising, communicating, and implementing strategies, ensuring compliance with existing systems and processes, and supporting training and development to embed best practices. The HoP plays a crucial role in establishing strong sourcing, building robust supplier partnerships, and ensuring performance aligns with Framatome group principles and behaviors.
What you will be doing:
1. Overseeing sourcing strategies and objectives to ensure delivery from concept to execution, with appropriate governance.
2. Delivering training (both classroom and on-the-job) and driving development needs within the function to achieve key focus areas, such as building a robust supply chain.
3. Translating objectives from the master plan, supply chain strategy, and group focus areas into actionable steps and driving them to completion.
4. Supporting procurement for major projects (>£600k) by ensuring governance and process steps are completed to add value.
5. Reviewing and approving contracts in line with the Delegation of Authority (DOA).
6. Developing a Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) approach for critical and strategic suppliers to foster long-term partnerships within governance frameworks.
7. Collaborating with Supply Chain Operations to support action plans for focus list suppliers.
8. Participating in Framatome international managers meetings across SAS, INC, GmbH, Ltd., and engaging in group supplier days and UK initiatives.
9. Reviewing process updates and amendments related to Supply Chain processes.
10. Supporting Supply Chain operations to ensure alignment in SRM, supplier development activities, and future project planning.
