Workshop Engineer - Monday to Friday, 40+ hours per week
You will be required to work Monday to Friday, with shifts ranging from a 7am start to a 7pm finish, sometimes overtime may be required to meet customer demand.

Are you a driven, self-starting individual looking for a workshop-based role with guaranteed full-time hours, a permanent contract, and a fixed annual salary? Due to our continued growth and further planned expansion within the M&E sector. We require an enthusiastic, practical and pro-active engineer. This is an indoor workshop-based role at our new purposely designed workshop. The primary function to inspect, service and clean returning tools and equipment and with training moving on to calibration and repair our press tooling and M&E equipment.

You will be responsible for:
* Cleaning and maintaining the presentation of equipment
* Inspecting and Testing returning hire equipment (training given)
* Calibration of tools and equipment (training provided)
* PAT testing (training provided)
* Repair of press fit and M&E tools (training provided)
* Using a computer-based system for administration.
* Regularly checking, cleaning, and tidying our yard, workshop, warehouse, and vehicle parking areas
* Providing support to our warehouse, workshop and driving teams as required
it is essential that you bring:
* Previous experience in the maintenance and/or repair of a range of equipment and tools
* Mechanical or electrical experience.
* Practical understanding and mindset with the ability to work quickly and methodically.
* Computer skills
* Willingness to learn.
* Physical fit and hard-working team player
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* A can-do attitude with a willingness to help.
* Ability to concentrate whilst doing repetitive tasks.
