Job Title: Scaffolding Inspector
Report to: HSEQ Team
Summary
You will play a key role in ensuring that all of JMAC's working at height (WAH) platforms, scaffolding and fall arrest / restraint systems remain safe and compliant with industry guidelines (NASC / FASET) whilst ensuring work is undertaking in line with industry best practice guidelines, and JMAC's HSEQ policies and procedures.
Your role at JMAC will include:
· Maintaining a safe workplace, ensuring all activities comply with HSEQ polices, procedures and requirements.
· Ensure WAH installations and yards are compliance with industry guidelines.
· Complete specialist installations WAH erection inspection / handovers as requested.
· Issue specialist installations WAH dismantle certificates as requested.
· Perform Pull testing in line with NASC TG4 guidelines and compile pull test reports for complex structures identified by the operations team.
· Perform asset management audits on site.
· Conduct Weekly statutory WAH inspections in line with WAH regulations and commercial agreements.
· Completing all administrative procedures relating to the above ensuring actions identified are closed out in a timely manor in on line timelines provided for such and severity of improvement required.
· Small remedial works to allow handovers of WAH installations.
· Assist the HSEQ team where required.
· Actively promote continual improvement group wide.
What experience do you need?
· A valid CISRS Advanced Inspectors or Advanced Scaffolding card (which must remain valid at all times during employment).
· Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with experience in logistics, construction, scaffolding (system and tube and fittings).
· A full driving license (preferably clean)
· Health and Safety Awareness (HSEQ qualifications is desirable such as IOSH / NEBOSH).
. IPAF Qualification desirable

Normal Working Hours – 07:30hrs until 16:30hrs, some flexibility is required on start and finish times according to the needs of the business, JMAC operations team and yards are open 7 Days per week during peak times.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £20.73 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week
