We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive Humanities department from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and help them explore the past in meaningful and engaging ways.
Duties as History Teacher:
* Teach History across KS3 and KS4
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that foster curiosity, debate, and critical thinking
* Assess and monitor student progress to ensure all learners achieve their potential
* Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities, such as trips and clubs
* Support the school’s wider mission of promoting respect, diversity, and historical awareness
Ideal History Teacher:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
* Be committed to high standards of teaching and learning
* Possess excellent communication and classroom management skills as a History Teacher.
* Be reflective, resilient, and eager to contribute to the life of the school
