We are seeking a Partner Operations Manager to support the digital news publishing ecosystem, partnering with leading global publishers. This non‑technical role bridges publishers, external vendors, and internal teams within a company that delivers large‑scale platforms and subscription services to help publishers manage content, grow reader revenue, and provide reliable news experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the liaison between publishers, vendors, and internal teams
Resolve publisher issues through documentation fixes or cross‑functional escalation
Coordinate projects and programmes across vendors, PMs, and engineering teams
Oversee first‑level support operations and define SOPs/playbooks
Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective stakeholder communication
Identify opportunities to improve documentation, retrain vendors, or escalate feature requests/bugs
Support three core products:
Pinpoint: Investigative research tool for journalists; straightforward support (loading/access issues)
Reader Revenue Manager: Subscription service tool involving integrations, payments, user management, and financial reporting; fast‑paced with frequent feature updates
News App: High‑scale system with low support volume; tickets mainly styling or traffic queries
Required Skills & Experience
Experience Level: Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience
Problem Solving/Troubleshooting: Efficient issue resolution via documentation or escalation
Project/Program Management: Coordinating across vendors, PMs, and engineering teams
Vendor Management: Overseeing support operations and defining SOPs/playbooks
Soft Skills: High empathy and relationship management skills, essential in the sensitive, regulatory‑driven news sector
Preferred Backgrounds: Consultancy (IT/Strategy) or News/Media ecosystem experience
