The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of garage doors and related systems.
This role requires a strong understanding of all five types of garage doors (Canopy, Retractable, Roller Doors, Sectionals and Side Hinged), along with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties Install, repair, and service residential garage doors and openers Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues with garage doors Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building regulations Communicate effectively with clients regarding work performed and future maintenance needs.
Provide a full demonstration / handover of completed installations.
Skills Proven experience in the garage door industry. xjlbheb
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Knowledge of electrical systems related to garage doors is advantageous Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently or within a team environment Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to various repair scenarios Physical fitness to handle lifting heavy components and working at heights when necessary Full British Driving License CSCS Card Uniform and PPE provided
