Overview
We are seeking a Qualified Teacher (QTS) with strong SEND experience to deliver and oversee a bespoke education package for a young person with cerebral palsy and complex communication needs.
Responsibilities
* Deliver 1:1 teaching across literacy, numeracy, functional skills, and preparation for adulthood.
* Adapt and differentiate the curriculum using AAC technology (Eye Gaze, E-TRAN, symbol boards).
* Coordinate the education package in collaboration with therapists and family.
* Record progress, set targets, and contribute to regular reviews.
* Create engaging, fun, and personalised learning experiences tailored to the student’s interests.
Requirements
* UK QTS with proven classroom teaching experience.
* Extensive experience supporting students with complex physical and communication needs.
* Ability to use eGlass interactive lightboard technology to enhance teaching (training will be provided).
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills for working with parents and professionals.
* Patient, creative, and committed to inclusive practice.
