About the Role
We are looking for individuals to help residents live rewarding, engaging, and fulfilling lifestyles, meeting their needs for the mind, body, and soul.
The role involves supporting the planning, creation, and delivery of a welcoming home-based Lifestyle Programme, aimed at encouraging participation in various activities. This programme is part of our group-wide initiative, focusing on meeting resident interests and needs creatively and consistently, while adapting to different physical and mental abilities.
About You:
We provide full training, and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Key qualities include being organized, having excellent communication skills, and flexibility to work shifts. We support career development, with potential progression to Nurse Associate. Shifts are scheduled on a rota basis, including weekends, across a 7-day period.
Knowledge / Experience:
* Understanding of social interaction's role in wellbeing
* Ability to assist in delivering group and individual lifestyle sessions
* Ability to develop community links and organise successful events
* Flexibility to cover various responsibilities at short notice
* Willingness to develop through training and qualifications in Lifestyle / Activities
