You will identify and develop prospects with the aim of maximising sales and profitability from fleet vehicles and finance, warranty, and mechanical breakdown products. We welcome applications from proven sales achievers from inside and outside the motor industry, ideally people with strong face-to-face sales experience. Your main base will be located at Vantage Lexus Leeds; some travel will be required to attend business meetings, etc.
In this role, you will plan and organise your own daily selling activities, such as telephoning sales prospects (previous/existing fleet customers, general enquiries, sales leads, and cold calling) to generate new business.
You will qualify customer requirements through discussion and gauging reactions to alternative options, aiming to match the final solution closely to customer needs. You will then arrange and coordinate product demonstrations to suit customer requirements.
This is a full-time role, typically working between 08:30 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

To succeed in this role, you will:
* Ensure opportunities for sales by other teams are followed up by the most appropriate specialist.
* Ensure all vehicles presented for part exchange are appraised correctly, agreeing purchase prices with the Used Car Sales Manager.
* Negotiate with customers to agree on sale prices.
* Produce finance quotes (where appropriate), using knowledge of funding options to maximise commissions while meeting customer needs.
* Agree on finance arrangements and payment methods with customers, adhering to provider and company policies.
* Write proposals to obtain agreement on suggested solutions.
* Coordinate the completion of all necessary administration, including updating customer records for future prospecting.
* Agree on delivery arrangements with customers.
* Collaborate with colleagues and teams across the dealership to provide seamless customer service, responding to unaddressed customer needs.
* Continuously review and improve fleet sales processes and systems to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability.
