Milk Education are more than a supply partner – we are a community of educators. We are currently recruiting for an School Administrator to join a Secondary School in the Gateshead area. It would to be to start ASAP on a term time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and experience working in a busy administrative or school office environment.
School Administrator Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the school reception area and acting as the first point of contact
2. Answering phone calls and responding to emails
3. Maintaining accurate pupil and staff records
4. Supporting attendance monitoring and reporting
5. Assisting with general administrative duties including filing and data entry
6. Liaising with staff, parents, and external agencies
School Administrator Requirements or Skills:
7. Previous experience in an administrative or school office role
8. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Confident IT skills, including use of school systems (e.g. SIMS desirable)
11. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
12. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
