Job Description Project Manager (Small Scale) - Northern Ireland/Dublin - 6 months Contract CLIENT A multi-skilled company, who have been responsible for many prestigious developments in both the Public and Private sectors throughout the UK. As a result of further contract awards, We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and deliver small-scale construction projects from inception to completion. The role involves managing budgets, schedules, quality, and client relationships while coordinating design teams, site managers, and subcontractors. This position suits someone with excellent organisational skills who can manage multiple small projects simultaneously. Initial 6 month contract with the possibility of extension or permanent contract. The Ideal Person Previous experience as a Project Manager, Contracts Manager, or Senior Site Manager delivering small-scale projects. Strong understanding of construction processes, project lifecycles, and contracts. Proven ability to manage budgets, programmes, and subcontractor packages. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships. Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, or similar project management tools. Knowledge of health & safety standards and quality assurance processes. Relevant construction qualification (degree, HNC/HND, or trade background with management experience). Full UK driving licence (or local equivalent). A current valid CSR / CSCS Card - preferably held at management level. Qualified first aider desirable. Responsibilities Lead and manage small-scale construction projects (e.g., residential, refurbishment, fit-out, or small commercial works). Take responsibility for project delivery, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and risk registers. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates. Oversee procurement of subcontractors, suppliers, and materials. Work closely with Site Managers to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery. Ensure compliance with health & safety, building regulations, and quality standards. Resolve design, commercial, or site-related issues promptly. Prepare project reports and handover documentation.
