Deli / Food to Go Manager As a Deli/Food to Go Manager you will play the pivotal role in overseeing the daily operation of the deli, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow while creating, displaying and serving exceptional food and excellent customer service. This is a Full-time position working 42.5 hours per week over 5 days, Monday thru Sunday 6.00am to 3.00pm. Flexibility will be required infrequently. Salary £33,000 Location Watts Garage 4 Ballynure Road Ballyclare BT39 9AG *Duties* - Supervising and managing the deli team to deliver exceptional food and excellent customer service at all times - Overseeing and assisting with deli food production and service to ensure food is displayed to optimise sales - Ensuring strict compliance and being directly accountable for all food safety regulations, culinary standards, health and safety regulations, company policy and other relevant legislation - Ensuring high standards of cleanliness in all areas of the deli - Monitoring, minimising and recording waste streams - Ensuring compliance to food labelling requirements - Fostering a positive work environment by providing guidance and support to team members - Expanding the food to go range of product through innovation and market research - Setting daily menus and ordering stock *Skills* - At least 1 years experience in a food service role with 6 months experience in leading a team - Proficiency in deli operations and food preparation with a flair for presentation and being commercially aware - Strong leadership skills with a track record of inspiring and motivating a team - Achieving and sustaining exceptional customer service - Knowledge of food production techniques and practices with a relevant qualification in Food Safety - Understanding of food safety protocols, regulations and reporting requirements - Proficiency in using software and spreadsheets to help manage production and control profitability Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Company pension Employee discount Store discount Experience: Food handling: 1 year (required) Food service management role: 1 year (required) Supervising: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (required)
