Job Description Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef in their Education sector to join our team at Whitchurch, CF14 2XJ. You will be assisting with the production of both hot and cold food, deli grab & go items and serving on the hot food counter at breakfast and lunchtime, providing excellent customer service to our customers and ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are followed. What's in it for you: Job Responsibilities You will be preparing both hot and cold food, alongside deli grab & go items (sandwiches, wraps, salads and fruit pots) You will be serving on the hot counter at breakfast and lunchtime, keeping track of any dishes running low and carrying out Food Safety at all times. Placing orders and performing stock takes, alongside assisting with storing deliveries and deep cleans of the unit on a daily/weekly basis. You will be operating tills and taking payments, whilst providing excellent customer service to our customers. You will also be upselling sizes and products. Organising and coordinating hospitality Key Requirements: Previous experience working within a school environment would be beneficial Experience operating as a Chef Knowledge of financial processing and understanding P&L and stocktaking Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check About Aramark All applications will be treated in the strictest confidence.
