Professional Services Lead

We’re working with a rapidly growing, AI-native document management and workflow automation platform at a pivotal stage of growth. This is a senior, hands-on opportunity to join early, take ownership, and shape how Professional Services is delivered as the business scales.
The Role
As Professional Services Lead, you will own the full pre-sales, design, and implementation lifecycle for cloud-based services. This includes solution design, documentation, workflow configuration, system implementation, and go-live delivery.
As one of the first senior hires in this area, you’ll play a key role in building the Professional Services function from the ground up — defining standards, documentation, delivery processes, and a scalable services model. You’ll also work closely with Product and Leadership, feeding client insight directly into the product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
*
Lead technical discovery and solution design alongside Sales
*
Produce and own all implementation documentation (HLDs, LLDs, SoWs, implementation plans)
*
Deliver end-to-end implementations from SoW through to go-live
*
Design, configure, document, and maintain customer workflows and automation
*
Oversee testing, UAT, integrations, data migration, and handover to BAU
*
Act as the main technical contact for clients during delivery
*
Establish standards, templates, and processes for a growing Professional Services team
*
Contribute to continuous improvement and product development through client feedback
Skills & Experience
Essential:
*
5+ years in Professional Services, Solution Design, or Cloud Implementations
*
Strong experience with document management, workflow automation, or ECM platforms
*
Proven ability to write HLDs, LLDs, and SoWs
*
Hands-on workflow design and configuration experience
*
Excellent client-facing and documentation skills
Desirable:
*
Experience with AI, OCR, or IDP solutions
*
SaaS scale-up experience
*
Partner-led implementations
*
Understanding of APIs, integrations, and logic-based workflows
