Start immediately- long term £100 - £130 per day (dependent on experience and length of placement)
SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a specialism in Maths and Science to join a highly supportive Secondary SEN school in Bromley.
This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and diagnosed mental health conditions. The school provides a nurturing, therapeutic environment where students are supported to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally.
The Role:
* Deliver targeted Maths and Science intervention sessions to small groups and individual students.
* Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 - 5.
* Work closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff to provide a holistic approach to student development.
* Assist with lesson planning, preparation and classroom management.
* Build positive relationships with students and support their emotional wellbeing alongside their academic progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* HLTA status or extensive TA experience supporting Maths and Science.
* Strong subject knowledge in Maths and Science.
* Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH needs, or mental health challenges.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* A patient, resilient and compassionate approach.
* A commitment to helping young people achieve their full potential.
