This role will provide you the opportunity to manage a large engineering team, work on exciting projects and a play a real role in the development of the business engineering function and engineering team. Responsible for achieving the agreed levels of overall equipment availability and equipment related performance to contribute to an OEE measure.
Responsible for delivering cultural change within the Engineering function.
Must develop KPI’s and deliver measurable improvements in the effectiveness of the Engineering team.
Responsible for an effective spares management program to reduce risk and cost to the business.
Will lead projects up to £1m within the Engineering team.
Effectively manage performance of team members against agreed objectives and Key Performance indicators.
Demonstrated experience of working in a heavy engineering environment.
Will have held full functional responsibility for engineering within a relevant business
Demonstrable experience of managing large capital projects on time and within budget
