An exciting opportunity has arisen within a thriving business support team for a Patent Secretary. Key Responsibilities As part of a friendly and hard‑working secretarial team, you will provide high‑quality support to busy fee‑earners. Your duties will include: Preparing and issuing invoices Drafting correspondence and preparing documents Communicating with clients, agents and external contacts Updating internal systems and databases, including Inprotech Providing tailored support to meet specific client requirements, including using client portals/document management systems Managing records and general administrative tasks About You At least 12 months’ secretarial experience within an Intellectual Property (IP) environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly Highly organised, able to prioritise multiple deadlines, and comfortable working on your own initiative Experience with invoicing and/or Inprotech is an advantage What’s on Offer A competitive salary Flexible and hybrid working arrangements An attractive benefits package A supportive, collaborative working environment and a welcoming, established team This role offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a high‑performing IP support function within a growing business support team.
