Owen Daniels are supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer supplying precision-engineered components to major global OEMs, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their growing engineering team focussing on NPI.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and technically minded Manufacturing Engineer to work within a highly regulated aerospace environment, supporting both new product introduction and continuous improvement activities across production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for aerospace components and assemblies
* Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process flows, and PFMEAs
* Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from concept through to production
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost reduction, and efficiency
* Liaise closely with design, quality, production, and supply chain teams
* Investigate and resolve manufacturing and process-related issues
* Support lean manufacturing and root cause analysis activities
* Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with aerospace quality standards and customer requirements
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven experience within a Manufacturing Engineer position in the aerospace sector
* Strong knowledge of machining, assembly, or fabrication processes
* Experience working within AS9100 or similarly regulated environments
* Understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Experience with process validation, tooling, and production support
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering preferred
