Responsibilities
:
1. Build and maintain a diverse and flexible workforce, ensuring optimal shift planning and effective coverage for absences. Lead recruitment, training, and development initiatives to strengthen the talent pipeline and conduct regular performance reviews to support individual growth.
2. Oversee all goods-in and goods-out activities, ensuring accurate documentation, proper handling, and robust record-keeping through regular audits.
3. Monitor and analyze departmental KPIs, taking corrective action as needed to ensure targets are met.
4. Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness, ensuring all equipment is well maintained and fit for purpose.
5. Lead quarterly projects aligned with the site’s business objectives, actively contributing to ongoing process improvements and operational excellence.
6. Promote a healthy, inclusive, and secure working environment by ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety (H&S) standards and proactively managing non-compliance through LIA reporting.
7. Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements within the department, supporting both operational efficiency and the broader business strategy.
