We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000, depending on experience, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a company sponsored pension scheme.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
Producing monthly Support Function Management Accounts, complete with clear and insightful variance analysis
* Reconciling Support Function balance sheet accounts, resolving queries promptly and accurately
* Supporting the Budget and Forecast cycles, ensuring timely, high-quality submissions and updates
* Reviewing key overhead spend categories and providing data driven insights to support decision making
* Delivering ad‑hoc accounting support and proactively escalating issues where needed
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience completing monthly Management Accounts and preparing accounting packs including variance analysis
* Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with Finance Business Partners and functional leads
* A structured, organised approach with proven ability to meet deadlines
* Solid understanding of accounting principles and the ability to apply them accurately to transaction timing and treatment
* A continuous improvement mindset with a track record of identifying opportunities to enhance quality or efficiency
