Overview
The general pharmacy department is recruiting a Pharmacy Assistant to support the Immunoglobulins (IVIGs) administration with administrative and stock control duties. This 16-hour-per-week role is flexible in how those hours are used (e.g., four 4-hour days or two 8-hour days).
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support and stock control for Immunoglobulins (IVIGs).
* Ensure accurate data entry and information handling on PCs.
* Demonstrate high levels of accuracy in all areas of work.
* Work as part of a team or autonomously on ward-based top-up duties as required.
* Participate in GDP training to meet the requirements of the wholesale dealer Licence.
* Undertake all mandatory training as requested by the Trust.
Qualifications and requirements
* Good organisational skills.
* Able to work with PCs and input data accurately.
* The post holder will be required to undertake further education, training and validation before being allowed to undertake the duties required of this post.
