Joining us as the Shopper Marketing Manager, you will be aligned to a customer where you will be required to maintain and grow sales within the Grocery and Non-Grocery Channels including Asda, Morrisons, Iceland, Co-op, as well as international distributors/customers, Convenience, and Online in line with the overall goals for Nomad.
Responsibilities
This is a key role within the wider commercial team where you will be required to manage the Grocery business unit and non-grocery channels in Customer Marketing. Your responsibilities include landing shopper campaigns on time and in alignment with brand priorities, customer strategies, and commercial business plans. You will be the key link between eCommerce and Customer Marketing, working closely with the eCommerce team to ensure learnings are incorporated into Customer Marketing plans. You will also create strategically aligned activation plans for allocated accounts, working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and category teams, including the development of marketing materials and activation/eventing.
1. Manage a budget of over £2 million across channels.
2. Develop Customer Marketing plans for multiple accounts.
3. Create and approve locally produced advertising.
4. Establish message hierarchies for retailers and shoppers for each channel.
5. Lead brand engagement days for specific customers within allocated accounts and channels.
6. Evaluate activations and share learnings and best practices.
7. Coordinate with UK Marketing on Must Win Battles communication.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced Shopper Marketing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, demanding FMCG environment. You should be commercially savvy, data-driven, and skilled in managing budgets. Familiarity with the Shopper Marketing landscape and working in alignment with customers and retailers is essential. We value results-oriented individuals who embrace learning, bring positive energy, and demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and collaboration.
* Knowledge of customer/trade marketing and Shopper Marketing.
* Understanding of price and promotion planning and negotiation.
* Ability to use data to identify opportunities and risks.
* Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
* Project management skills.
* Comfortable working in a demanding environment with multiple reporting lines (matrix structure).
